To remove stains caused by smallpox:
- Take a few pieces of sandalwood and mash until smooth. Give enough water and stir until the water is brown and viscous. Soak patients with this herb.
- Apply a scar with finely grated young corn. After settling for a while, wash thoroughly.
- The bark of a palm tree thorn that has been dried in the mash until smooth, using as a powder on the stain.
- Drying squid in the sun until dry, then mash until smooth. Apply powder on the stain before the collision results scar. In a short time pockmarks will be lost.
